💡 Did you know

We should get some official hints or reveal of Pixel 8a and Pixel Fold 2 on Google I/O 2024.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold Cameras Array - No More Bar

On Feb 21 2024, the famous leaker on X @onleak show us the renders of the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold with total new design, especially on the cameras.

From all the leaked pictures and video renders of the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold phone, it shows a different camera design than other Pixel phones. Instead of a regular long bar design for a few generations, rumor suggests that the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold will have two levels of cameras on the side.

The new camera array design might mean that Google is changing how it makes its future Pixel phones. But let's remember it could just be for this foldable phone. Due to the foldable design, foldable phones sometimes have to use different designs for the camera. Also, they might want to save money by using this kind of camera.

The new design shows Google might ditch the long bar design for the cameras, but we will know then.

Google Pixel Fold 2 Screen Is Huge

According to Ross Young on X  @DSCCRoss , Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a larger screen than the original Pixel Fold. The outer display is expected to be 6.29 inches, and the inner display is expected to be 8.02 inches

Pixel Fold 2 Phone Specs

There is a rumor going around that the upcoming Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold may feature a new Tensor G4 chip instead of the Tensor G3 chip that was introduced in the Pixel 8 last year. This new chip is expected to enhance the AI performance of the phone, making it smarter and faster. Additionally, the device is rumored to have a whopping 16GB of RAM, which would be a first for the Pixel family. Another source has also mentioned the Tensor G4 and 16GB of RAM, and revealed that the Pixel Fold 2 will come with 256GB of storage, run on Android 14, and receive software updates for seven years, just like the Google Pixel 8.

There are lots of resources believe that Google might skip  #TensorG3  and launch Pixel Fold 2 with upcoming Tensor G4 chipset.

More than that, it will feature 16gb LPDDR5 ram, and UFB 2.0 265G storage as based option.
