Thinborne vs. Super Thin Galaxy S24 Ultra Mous Case: In-Depth Feature & Pricing Comparison in 2025

When it comes to high-end smartphone protection, Mous and Thinborne are notable choices with real-world reviews.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra Mous case is known for its polycarbonate material, MagSafe, and microfiber lining. Thinborne is popular for its 600D aramid fiber, aerospace-grade toughness, and unapologetically thin design. This is owing to the fact that whereas Thinborne’s Galaxy S24 Ultra case focuses on serious protection in a minimalist shell, Mous focuses on flair and polish.

So, which one truly offers the best bang for your buck in 2025? Let’s dive into the details.

Thinborne vs. Super Thin Galaxy S24 Ultra Mous Case: In-Depth Feature & Pricing Comparison [2025 Edition]

Both Thinborne and Mous offer ultra-thin cases tailored for users seeking minimal bulk without compromising on protection:

  • Thinborne’s Galaxy S24 Ultra case is made of 600D aramid fiber, which is known for its durable yet lightweight nature. Although the case has a thin build, its MagSafe support is strong.

  • The Galaxy S24 Ultra Mous case offers a budget-friendly option with its super-thin S24 Ultra case. Made from polycarbonate and lined with microfiber, it provides basic scratch protection while maintaining a sleek appearance.

Both cases have their unique features. Here’s a side-by-side comparison of the two products:

Now that we know each of their key features, let’s dive deeper into their differences to determine which is the best value for your money.

1. Thinborne vs. Mous Super Thin Galaxy S24 Ultra Case: Design & Build Quality

aramid fiber vs polycarbonate s24 ultra cases

When choosing between Galaxy S24 Ultra cases, the difference starts with the materials.

Thinborne’s Galaxy S24 Ultra case is constructed from 600D aramid fiber , the best material for phone cases. This S24 Ultra case boasts a minimalist design using a material five times stronger than steel.

It also comes with a matte finish that provides a non-slip grip and fingerprint-proof surface. Its ultra-thin profile adds minimal bulk, making it ideal for people who like a sleek look. Moreover, aramid fiber is built for long-lasting performance.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra Mous case is made of polycarbonate, a strong and light plastic commonly used in gadgets and accessories. Though this case is designed to be as close to the original look and feel of your S24 Ultra, it’s not without hiccups.

Its ultra-thin profile adds little bulk, but the case is slippery and doesn’t have a lot of grip. It also doesn’t hide any fingerprints, so you’ll have to constantly clean it. In some cases, it’s not guaranteed to last long. A special coating used in maintaining the plastic can wear off with everyday usage.

2. Thinborne vs. Mous Super Thin Galaxy S24 Ultra Case: Thinness & Weight

The Thinborne Galaxy S24 Ultra case is just 0.04 inches thin and weighs a mere 0.75 ounces. It’s a case as light as a feather that offers robust protection without unnecessary thickness.

In contrast, the Galaxy S24 Ultra Mous case adds approximately 1.2 mm to the device’s thickness and weighs around 34.1 grams.

Both cases are designed to keep the S24 Ultra’s original look as much as possible, but Thinborne’s S24 Ultra case wins the thinnest and lightest category.

3. Thinborne vs. Mous Super Thin Galaxy S24 Ultra Case: MagSafe & Wireless Charging Compatibility

Many have asked: Does the S24 Ultra have MagSafe? Unfortunately, the answer to that question is no. The S24 Ultra, like other Samsung devices, doesn’t have the magnets or ring needed for MagSafe.

However, there are workarounds to bring MagSafe safely to the S24 Ultra, such as using magnetic phone cases.

The Thinborne Galaxy S24 Ultra case features MagSafe-compatible magnets for secure attachment to MagSafe accessories. In addition to being stylish and minimalistic, it also integrates seamlessly with MagSafe accessories, such as car mounts and wallets.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra Mous case is MagSafe compatible as well and allows for wireless charging. However, the design has caused some to have trouble with wireless charging and magnetic attachment.

If you plan on using magnetic chargers or third-party wireless chargers, it’s important to test the case to make sure that it holds on properly to your magnetic accessories.

What Our Customers Say About Us

Thinborne super thin galaxy s24 ultra case Amazon review

"This is by far the best Aramid case I've had on any phone hands down."

"Some things that makes this case a stand out:

1) Finish is Aramid of course but what sets this apart is the texture. Not rubbery but gives this extra feeling of grip.

2) Their is an extra tiny little lip on the top and bottom parts that protects the screen if you were to set it down or drop it on the front glass. This is a major improvement from my last Aramid case where there wasn't anything protecting the glass.

3) Precision cut holes with no rough Aramid fibers exposed. This is another biggy. My prior Aramid cases, the edges in some places you could occasionally feel sharper spots where the Aramid fibers were somewhat exposed. This case it's really smooth all the way around.

4) Mag-Safe is strong!. I've had a few mag-safe cases in the past that weren't strong in holding the phone up in a vertical position and occasionally sometimes they'd fall off, especially in the car during bumpier rides. The Mag-safe in this is thin and not exposed on the back to keep the clean flat back and similarly not raised on the opposite side so it doesn't have the potential to scratch your phone. I was a little concerned about this before I got it but after trying it on a Mag-Safe charger, it sit's on the charger."

"Almost naked and not afraid."

"Very very thin, light, but strong case. I like that it's raised at the top and bottom edge of the screen like the the Thinborne rugged cases are. It does offer a good amount of protection for how thin and light it is. Like you don't even have a case on there.

The 2 tempered glass screen protects look great as well and have a black edge around them. I didn't put one on yet, as my last screen protector is holding up. I'll use this case much of the time when at home and working. But I'll keep using my Thinborne rugged case when working outside and on hikes etc....since I'm clumsy and drop my phone a lot :)

I'd highly recommend this if you want a thin, light case that's much better than having your phone naked."
